Originally established as Auto Parts Company in 1944, our business has continuously operated as a Dupont/Axalta Distributor for 80 years. 

Paul Goodwin purchased the newly named Auto Parts Company of Loveland in 1969, and then established the paint store as a stand-alone business in 1981. 

Ed & Cindy Bublitz purchased and renamed the business Ed’s Auto Paint in 1995 and served customers throughout Northern Colorado for almost 30 years. 

With almost 75 years of combined local experience in the autobody paint and supplies industry, Bill & Beau purchased Ed’s Auto Paint in January 2024 with a desire to honor and build upon the decades-long legacy of offering Quality Products, Exceptional Value and Superior Customer Service. Liberty Coatings & Supply will carry forward Ed’s commitment to being your local source for auto-related supplies, and continue as proud distributors of the Axalta Automotive & Industrial Coatings product lines.
